Dr Pascal Vrticka is an Associate Professor at the University of Essex and Principal Investigator of the Social Neuroscience of Human Attachment (SoNeAt) Lab. He serves as Coordinating Board President of the SIRG “Social Neuroscience of Human Attachment” within SEAS, where he is also Secretary and Executive Board Member, and has been an Associate Trustee of the UK charity Babygro since 2022. Dr Vrticka studied biochemistry and neurobiology at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich and completed a PhD in social neuroscience at the University of Geneva. His postdoctoral work spans the University of Geneva, Stanford School of Medicine, and the Max Planck Institute in Leipzig.
